I never thought I would be a "dog person" but October 2008 I fell in love with Bhutan, a Llasa Apso/Shih Tzu puppy. We took 7 weeks of training and have learned some tips to a great relationship. Bhutan's brother, Tucker, was boarded at Raykis Place and had the best care in a family setting. No chain link fencing or concrete flooring. A mom and daughter business full of love. So Bhutan had his stay there. Soon I found myself hired as helper and falling further into doggy bliss. We are talking about collaborating on the production and sales of dog related items available through Raykis Place. Who knows where creativity will appear next?

I am on the Rayki's Place team and will be walking to raise money for our local SPCA on Sept 13th at Bright Angel Park south of Duncan. Check out the website if only to see some adorable creatures we share our planet with. There's a map to the walk location if you just want to be a spectator (way to hook you, eh?) and see lotsa pooches and have lotsa fun.
