JULY
We are not on the Visions Art Tour this year but encourage you to attend it.
For information on dates and venues go to the website, .
To further her on-going learning, Rene is enrolled in 4 courses this summer:
~ End of June and into July - at Alberta College of Art & Design, Foldforming Metals, with Charles Newton-Brain
~ July for 2 weeks: at Metchosin Int'l Summer School of the Arts - Alternative Raku with Joe Brecha, Chain Jewelry with Julia Lowther, and Creative Metalsmithing with Crys Harse.
AUGUST - Open by appointment only
During August, Rene is working on some commissions and building inventory as well as enjoying the beach and visiting friends and entertaining her sister Jane and hubby Jon from Minnetonka, Minnesota. Any time, however, we welcome your call to make sure we are available if you would like to come to the studios.
After Rene boarded her puppy, Bhutan, at Rayki's Place, she soon found herself employed there as a part-time helper. Lise and Rene are excited about a collaboration, which will expand their businesses to include doggy related products which are now being designed and created. Stay tuned for the announcement of the new lines. Check the links page for Rayki's Place website. Of course, have a look at the pictures of the cutest little doggies ever. Don't miss another opportunity that Lise is offering: taking an Farinfared Sauna.
